We love to welcome visitors to the Lama Foundation! However, we are sometimes in retreat, whether summer or winter, so it is very important to check with us before planning a visit.
Visitors can tour the land, share a meal or even stay a few nights. Day visits are by donation and overnight visits have a per-night requested donation of $25 to $50, sliding scale. If you plan to stay overnight, please bring a tent or make prior arrangements for indoor housing.
We offer a public Shabbat service and dinner weekly on Friday during the summer. There is Zikr (Sufi Ceremony of Divine Remembrance) or Dances of Universal Peace on most Thursday evenings, and the Maqbara (gravesites) of Murshid Samuel Lewis and Murshida Vera Corda are always open to their followers for day visits. Please call to confirm times for Shabbat and Thursday evening activities before heading up the Mountain – times change with the seasons, and are sometimes dependent on what events are currently occurring at the Foundation.
