Registration Procedure
Registration applications for retreats and long-term programs must be accompanied by a deposit equal to half of the total fee. Lama Foundation accepts cash, checks, money orders, and visa or master card. The balance will be due 30 days before the start of the retreat. Registration within 30 days of the start of a retreat will require full payment.

The registrar handles all registration and processing of your retreat and long-term program payments. You may register by printing out, filling in and mailing in the registration form with your deposit payment. You may also send the registration information by e-mail. To pay by credit card please contact the Registrar at 575-586-1269.

Retreat fees and long-term program fees include tuition (except those retreats that include “dana” -- contributions whereby the teacher receives only the retreatant’s donations as honorarium), meals, and camping. Dormitory fees are additional and must be reserved to guarantee a place. Car camping is available, space permitting, and also requires reservations to guarantee a space.

Upon receipt of your registration materials, the registrar will send confirmation and retreatant information to your contact mailing address or your e-mail address. Please allow three weeks to receive mailed confirmation and retreatant information. Please be sure to notify the registrar of any special diet needs as early as you can.

Retreats start in the afternoon of the first day on the retreat. Retreatants are requested to arrive after lunch, register and set up camp before dinner. Orientation and evening programs begin after dinner. All retreats end with lunch of the final day. If you wish to arrive early or stay later, please make arrangements with the registrar. There is a $15 daily fee for extra days at Lama.

Refund Policies

A $30 processing fee will be withheld on all refund requests. During the three weeks (21 days) prior to the beginning of the cancelled retreat, the entire deposit is non-refundable.

No refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after the first day of the retreat.

There will be a processing charge of $75 on all returned checks.
