In the Tree House, Carol Crews led the mixing and application of an aliz finish to cosmetically improve this fireplace. It's still drying in the "after" picture on the right.
Not content to stop with that, she taught about how to make, apply, and maintain traditional earthen floors, too...
... and then led some earth-plastering on the attached greenhouse because she was having so much fun.
Meanwhile, out on the side of the building, Kaki and Doni taught about using carbide lime, a byproduct of acetylene gas production, as plaster.
