Work had continued on projects from Build Here Now 1999 throughout the year.
This photo shows three of the primary projects of the 1999 event, from left to right: a solar composting toilet, the round-timber-framed bale-and-straw-clay-infilled earth-plastered Tree House, and finishing work on the straw-clay EcoNest. (The EcoNest is closer to the camera than the Tree House, which is actually a much larger structure.)
A shot from the other side, just for fun. (It ain't all just blissed-out chanting and meditation at Lama. Life is for living.)
There was nothing left to do with the solar composting toilet Ron Sutcliffe led the building of last year except use it.
The EcoNest, too, is fulfilling its intention as a residence.
