Dear Applicant,
Thank you so much for your interest in the Lama Foundation! This application gives us an opportunity to get to know you, learn about where you're coming from, and what hopes, dreams, and experiences you're coming up the mountain with. Please answer ALL of the questions to the best of your ability. We look forward to hearing from you, learning about you, and hopefully seeing you soon! Note: we take each application seriously and invest much time and energy into this process. While we understand that plans change, please only apply with sincere interest. Blessings from the mountain! (If you are applying for the Permaculture Internship, please apply for that program separately).

A word about Seva:

Lama Foundation is a retreat center, and our primary focus in the summer is on the day-to-day service of the retreats. This Seva- or "selfless service"- includes preparing and cooking vegetarian meals, cleaning, preparing spaces, and tending to the retreatants' other needs. Of course there are always other projects and opportunities on the land, depending on steward numbers and individuals' skills and passions. Please refer to Summer Steward Information Pages for additional info.

Please provide a primary and a secondary reference, with their names, titles, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses. The reference should be able to comment on your dependability and quality of work or your participation in spiritual and communal life. We will also contact you to set up a time to dialog and answer questions with you over the phone.

Do you have any questions you would like us to respond to?
Thank you so much for your time and care in completing this application.
